Bluetooth issues with Raspberry Pi 3 and 8Bitdo NES30 Pro
-
So I'm setting up a RetroPie device (Raspberry Pi 3) for someone and am attempting to use an 8Bitdo NES30 Pro. I get the controller to pair and connect on boot, but once I get a little into any game (anywhere from 10 seconds to a minute) the controller becomes unresponsive and my character will just continue scrolling to the right until it encounters an obstacle or dies. At first I thought it might have been an issue with my laptop as when the controller would stop working, the internet on my laptop would be knocked out as well. Even with my laptop off though, the issue still persists.
Any thoughts on what could be causing this? I reinstalled RetroPie and even re-flashed the controller with the latest firmware without any luck.

@nukee This sound like the BT connection bug.
Go to the official homepage for 8bitdo. Update your controller to the latest firmware and redo the hole bt setup by unpairing the controller. Pair and redo the emulationstation controller setup.Keep in mind to have 8bit do hack set to "off" before you pair it.

@Rion After unpairing/pairing a few times it appears to be fixed. Thank you! One interesting thing to note, there was another registered BT device that I couldn't remove for some reason. After unpairing and pairing the controller a few times and rebooting the device it was finally gone. I'm guessing that was causing the issue as it's disappearance from the registered devices coincides with the controller working fine.
