      Hello there.

For about the last 8 hours I am trying to get my Xbox One Controller to work under Ubuntu 16.04 LTS x64.
I watched multiple videos and went over a couple tutorials, tried xboxdrv and xpad.

The problem is, that the controller won't connect to the wireless adapter that came with the gamepad. But it also won't work when it's connected via USB-cable.

So my guess is more that it is a problem between Ubuntu and this controller than with Retropie. Works perfectly under Windows 10, even after installing Ubuntu today.
I never worked with Ubuntu ever. I am totally out of ideas, what it could be or what I could do.
After I moved the wireless dongle from the front to the back of the PC, it doesn't even show up in jstest-gtk anymore. And doesn't show up when I move the dongle to the front either.

Is there a general workaround to get the wireless Xbox Controller working?

In case you need to know my system:
      Intel Core i5 3570k @4,7GHZ
      32GB DDR3-1600 GEIL
      2x MSI Nvidia GTX 970

      :(
