Finally got retropie working on my Rpi3. I only have xbox360 wireless controllers and just discovered they need a receiver. My controllers paired with the 360 automatically.

Saw this on amazon. Before I buy, just want to make sure this will work with retropie 4.1 without a lot of customization?

Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows

    TIA.

@gotodeng0 yes. There is a white one as well. It syncsthe controllers the same way as xbox 360 system. There is a sync button on the adapter.

I have a Generic Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver and it works great with my 3 official Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless controllers. I think I paid about $8 for my generic one but $18.95 for an official Microsoft one isn't bad either.

I have two different generic receivers, both of which work fine with RP. No need to spend more money on a genuine microsoft receiver :)
