Save frameskip setting for lr-mame2010?

As the title states is there a way to save frameskip setting for lr-mame2010? If you press f8 and f9 it will change the frameskip. I know in le-mame2003 it is in the core options which i could modify to use on a per rom basis but i have no clue if it is possible for lr-mame2010 to even save the setting at all.
