    Whenever I play any Colecovision game, the sound comes and goes at irregular intervals. It's rare to get 20 seconds of unbroken audio before 5-10 seconds of silence. Is this a known issue? Can't find any mention of it. There don't appear to be any settings to alter.

        @edmaul69 How weird. Sound is absolutely fine on every other emulator.

          @SpudsMcToole

          You'll want to check the audio post processing features of your television. Specifically, look for anything that tries to regulate volume.

              @edmaul69 The only setting like that I can find is called Auto Volume, and it's already set to Off.

                @SpudsMcToole

                My parents have a television that obnoxiously continues to post process audio and video even when all options are turned off. With your specific issues, I'd at least try testing with another TV if at all possible just to completely remove the possibility from the equation.

                  @mediamogul TBH that would involve way, way too much faffing about on account of a moderately annoying fault in one minor emulator that it wouldn't help me to fix anyway, but I appreciate the heads-up all the same. Since yesterday I've learned a lot I didn't know about how much modern TVs dick around with stuff without telling you about it :D

                    @SpudsMcToole just for the record even if it was a bug with coolcv there is nothing we can do about it as it's closed source. You may have luck getting a hold of Oscar the developer (nanochess) on the Atariage thread , possible someone else may have had the same issue and posted a fix. I haven't been over there in a while so idk
