Does Virtual Boy Emulator work with 3d glasses?
-
I've read that some of the Virtual Boy emulators work with 3d glasses. Does the RetroPie version work with 3d glasses? Can't find a answer anywhere.

It does indeed. Some games work better than others, but the 3D is pretty good in most cases. The option to enable 3D can be found in the core options by invoking the RetroArch menu with 'select+x' while in a game. I recommend getting a more comfortable pair of reusable plastic anaglyph glasses for extended play sessions.

Hello! I am trying to set up 3D for the Virtual Boy on my Retropie 3 b, and I was following this page, but I am having difficulty finding the option for turning on 3D.
I started a test ROM, and used select + X to get to the Retroarch menu, but I only see a "Core" option, but nothing labeled "Core Options" and "Core" didn't have anything labeled clearly as "Turn 3D rendering on" or something like that.
Sadly, I was being impatient, and didn't think to get the Version of Retropie, but the Image file is labeled Retropie2x, and I installed the Ir-beetle-vb Emulator from the optional repo, (It wasn't in experimental from what I saw).
Any suggestions, or do I need to wait to get more info when I'm at the Pie?

You're looking for a setting called 'Anaglyph Preset'. There are many different colors associated with anaglyph 3D, but what the most common are red/blue and red/cyan.

@mediamogul is the only 3D option a Red/Blue, or is there an option for side by side (my TV can create 3D from a side by side)?
I'm not fully up to trot on "Shaders" but while browsing around, there was some mention that somehow, I may be able to smash the shader and Retropie bits together and get a side by side 3D?
Ultimate goal: Raspberry Pi 3 B outputs 3D signal over HDMI, OR a side by side 3D image with the TV converting to a 3D image.
Or it could be impossible, I'm not sure.
