Using fb1 (Touchscreen) instead of fb0 (HDMI)?
-
Hey Guys,
I bought a 3.5inch TouchScreen (XPT2046 ChipSet) and got it ALMOST to work with RetroPie.
I have to use this to boot RetroPie on Touchscreen:
First I run the command "fbcp &" from the Terminal (on Debian Jessie Desktop).
After that, I run "sudo pkill Xorg" following "sudo systemctl stop lightdm && emulationstation".
RetroPie boots, Screen is on HDMI AND Touchscreen, like in this video:
As you can see in the Video, the fps is like 15-20fps which are not good enough to play smoothly. How can I get RetroPie to show the GUI and the Games on TouchScreen instead on HDMI?
I changed "fb0" to "fb1" in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/99-fbturbo.conf already but it doesn't affect on RetroPie.
The TouchScreen just show the console of RetroPie (means if I open raspi-config through RetroPie, it will be displayed on Touchscreen)The TouchScreen works normally on Raspbian though...
Anyone who can help me with that?

@CellenseresPi I don't think you will be able to get decent performance out of this sort of screen - you need one that connects via hdmi or composite.

Could you recommend a good & cheap HDMI Touchscreen which works for RetroPie?
from 3.5inch up to 5inch would be nice (with Case). Thanks in advance!"
