Re: Runcommand for lr-mame2003 and lr-mame2010

Hi I am new to using Attract mode, and my problem is it doesn't have a default emulator to run mame2003. So i tried adding my own emulator, but i can't figure out the correct "command arguments" to get my roms to run that are in my arcade folder.

      I tried:
      [0_SYS_mame-mame2003 "(romfilename)"] ,
      [0_SYS_ir-mame2003 "(romfilename)"],
      [0_SYS_mame-ir-mame2003 "(romfilename)"]

none of which seem to work. can anyone help me?

All I'm looking to do is have an emulator from Attract mode play mame2003 roms that are located in the arcade folder.

if you install attractmode from retropie-setup it should configure this for you

the launch args should be 0 _SYS_ mame-libretro "[romfilename]" for the mame-libretro roms folder.

yes i have an option for that emulator, however it won't launch my MAME 2003 (MAME0.78) Roms. I adjusted the rom paths to search the arcade folder and it is finding the roms, it seems it just not using the right emulator to launch them. Thanks, I'll try again, maybe i messed something up typing in am hours. :o). I'll let you know if can get it working.
