@miramanee Yes lr-mame2010 is the same MAME you linked, just optimised for the PI. It uses the same 0.139 romset. However it is in the Optional packages as it does not have full functionality. See here https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/MAME#lr-mame2010-mame-2010 Most Pi users go with lr-mame2003 using the 0.78 romset or lr-mame4all which uses the 0.37b5 romset - this is MAME 2000. My personal preference is lr-mame2003 for most games and advanceMAME for vector games & lightgun games, advmame has great support for a mouse and controllers. And yeah, FBA, lr-fbalpha using the 0.2.97.39 romset is probably best for NeoGeo & CPS. here are some links. thank you for the quick answer :-)
it says only 2 players are supported if this is the only thing it doesn't matter for me.

@miramanee I would definitely go with 2003 or 2000 over 2010 any day. Both here and on other RetroPie forums the vast majority of people use 00 or 03, I don't see many opting for 14 on the Pi.
-
2010 also has aspect ratio issues. unless you have specific reasons for going for this emulator over 2003/fba, you don't want it.
-
no i dont have to go with 2010 i only thought it supports more games like the others so i thought it would be better ok i try the 2003 i only have to run again the dat file :-(
the most importand Thing is that i have the perfect aspect Ratio for all games and i can Play the games 1 to 1 like in the arcades thats why i bought the Sony BVM.
-
@miramanee What are you using to connect your pi to your crt tv?
