Ah I see, you guys wanted my edited theme files? Ha, silly me, sorry about that.
I didn't upload them on github. Github shows only a 100% working theme not experimental stuff.
If nismo doesn't beat me to it I'll upload my modified files to mega after I get back from work. (8:26am here) -
@FlyingTomahawk I got it working right now, the problem is where to place marquees because they are on top of system logo.

@FlyingTomahawk Ok it's done, I placed the marquees out of the screen, then you can place it wherever you want.
I'm uploading the new theme and i'll post the changes in a few minutes.

The video is showing there where the md_image usually would be?The marquee should be on top of the video bottom-right. Similar to this image here.

@FlyingTomahawk Yes, it's working, I placed marquees out of screen to let you place it wherever you like. And yes, the video is the same size than md_image, but for my liking I prefer more width and less high.

For every system you need to edit theme.xml and replace:
<view name="system, basic, detailed">with:
<view name="system, basic, detailed, video">And also replace in theme.xml:
<view name="detailed">with:
<view name="detailed, video">For Futura.xml changes I recommend to you to compare your old file with the new one, just because a lot of changes...

I had a quick look at your changes and now I see what went wrong on my attempt. I did not add the video view inside the main xml file (futura.xml)
I think I can improve the code a bit more and evtl. update the theme with this new feature.
I am at the vet right now but will test it asap.

Just tested it and it works like a charm! Fantastic work!
Now I have to fine tune it and add a nice marquee over the video (bottom-right). -
@FlyingTomahawk I'm glad to help, maybe you can use the f_basic_10px.png instead of f_detailed_10px.png for detailed and video view and place the marquees on top left, and place the logo on top center... you are the theme developer so you decide, it's just an idea...

I am sure it has been answered somewhere already but going through 400+ pages....
Is there a ES version for windows that supports that video stuff so that I'll be able to test it on my PC?
I moved some code pieces yesterday and things started to break and testing on a Pi is a bit of a pain. -
