      I'm sorry I'm very new with editing xml files. What should it be? Or what should I be looking for.

          @HurricaneFan if i look at the gamelist.xml file in the roms folders. i have this

          <image>./boxart/2005 Minigame Multicart (USA) (Unl).png</image>
          <marquee>./wheel/2005 Minigame Multicart (USA) (Unl).png</marquee>
          <video>./snap/2005 Minigame Multicart (USA) (Unl).mp4</video>
          <thumbnail/>

          <publisher>AtariAge</publisher>
          <genre/>
          <players>1</players>
          </game>

          my artwork is saved in the boxart folder but when using the CRT theme they are stretched out and not the correct size.

            @adon767 Ok, from what I see in the CRT theme.xml file, the md_image uses MaxSize. So it should keep the right aspect ratio of your images. That's weird that it doesn't.

              @HurricaneFan The values for the Max size should those be changed right now they are set at 0.25 and 0.33

                I'm having the same problem with this theme. The md_image is using MaxSize, but it's not keeping my box art aspect ratio.

                  As far I know, that's a bug with the latest build of ES and would be fixed soon. (I'm not totally sure).

                  Nothing to do with the theme.

                    @Nismo that's my understanding as well. I'll double check on an older version of ES to confirm in the next few days just in case.

                      @adon767 and @cloudlink I did some digging and it looks like this thread may cover what you are seeing:
                      https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/9261/bug-box-art-displaying-incorrect-size-the-first-time-i-enter-a-system

                      Looks like the fix has been submitted to the RetroPie repo here:
                      https://github.com/RetroPie/EmulationStation/commit/c41e0bbbeb1d54c7af5d79128da709816f990a15

                      If that matches up to what you are seeing it looks like a fix is ready to go - not sure when it will be in the latest build but could be soon.

                      Please let me know if that doesn't help.

                          @alphatoanant,

                          Outstanding. Do you mind if i showcase this theme and share it in some other groups?

                              Put the unzipped theme folder that you download into /home/pi/.emulationstation/themes.

                              Create the 'themes' folder if it isn't already there.

                                        @retronerd is there another folder called "crt" within the folder?

                                          Also, triple check that the them folder isn't accidentally empty.

                                            @retronerd the folder you copied it to isn't the one you're being told to.

                                            You seem to have copied it to /opt/RetroPie/configs/...

                                            And it's being suggested to copy it to

                                            /home/pi/.emulationstation/themes

                                            Different folder.

                                            If not,

                                            /etc/emulationstation/themes

                                            May also work.
