So I have updated all installed packages as well as updated the psx emulator from binary and no luck. Have the SCPH1001.BIN in my Bios folder and still nothing. I have tried looking up videos and blogs and still haven't had any luck.

Anyone know what else I could try?

      Thank you.

@workforit11 what are your roms look like. Bin/ cue, iso/cue or .pbp? If you open the cue file make sure the binary matches the iso or bin including all caps and lowercases.

What game are you trying to play? Do you have a bin and a cue file for that game? What is the content of the cue file (it should be readable text)? What is the exact name of both files (capitalization matters)? Do you have more than one bin file?

all of my roms are .bin/cue. Am I supposed to extract them before putting them into the folder? Also, when Retropie loads up playstation isn't an option as an emulator.

That's because retropie did not see the .cue file. Yes, you must extract them in the psx folder.
