      @briandamico if you quit emulationstation and exit to commandline does it show 128gb? I am just curious if it expanded the file system automatically or not.

          @briandamico if you press f4 button on a keyboard or press start then choose quit and then quit emulationstation. Either way will put you at the command line. You see a bunch of info. It says what size your sd card is and free space. If it doesnt say anything close to 128gb size or more than several gb free you have an issue. Then you would need to expand your file system if that is the case.

            @edmaul69 ok this is weird
            It says size 28gb used 26g and 88m avail use 100%

            It's a 128gb card
            I did use an app to condense my image backup to a 64gb sd for another project could that be what is happening?

            Can this be fixed?

              @edmaul69 i fixed it with sd clone app
              it had an expand feature
              87 gb available now and i will go forward and see if that fixed the issue :)

              ill correct those things too

                @edmaul69 replacing text to the following

                basilisk = "/opt/retropie/emulators/basilisk/bin/BasiliskII --rom /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/macintosh/QUAD650.rom --disk /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/macintosh/mac.img --extfs /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/macintosh --config /opt/retropie/configs/macintosh/basiliskii.cfg"
                default = "basilisk"

                  @edmaul69 didn't work again lol
                  i rebooted the system too after i made the changes.

                  i have the mac.img in the rom folder too

                  and ps. the games open now too so it was the sd card size which is now fixed.

                  but doesn't explain the os not starting up

                          @briandamico i found the problem. you told me QUAD650.rom when your actual rom file is QUAD650.ROM. caps and lowercase even on the file extension is important. you need to make sure that the rom and image files and what is written in the emulators.cfg is identical for both of those files

                                @edmaul69 ok so i wanted to show you this

                                http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l137/briandamico/nes/Screen Shot 2017-05-16 at 1.13.37 AM.png

                                this is a photo of two games, visible, on my mac running basilisk which can be opened and played.

                                now on the pi3, when i load the mac, and go to the same location the games folder is, the file icon is completely white and they won't open like they do on basilisk on my actual iMac.

                                  @edmaul69 here is the photo on the pi now

                                  http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l137/briandamico/nes/IMG_1103.jpg

                                  you can see the files are solid white.

                                  so just a bit baffled why that would be as everything else makes sense

                                      @edmaul69 forgive me, i am not aware of what color setting does. but what i do know is when i try to open any of them they bring up an error where as on the actual mac version, they open.

                                        @briandamico ok. Here is what you need to do. On the pi try setting the color to 32 bit or whatever the highest setting is. Then try to play the game. If it doesnt work you need to tell me the exact error and i will tell you how to fix.

                                          hey ed, ok so while i wait for the keyboard stuff to come, i am going to get back to this. now you said to go to the pi setting and go to 32 bit.
                                          is this in retro pie settings or settings on the macintosh OS itself ?
