"Nonblocking pool is initialized"

@castroe_10 Please learn that google is a resource. Minimal effort found this. https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=112739

@AlexMurphy I don't want to be rude per se but I do find it a bit humourous that the level of effort to sign up for a forum and create a post with tags and then wait for a response (hoping it isn't a condescending rtfm or use google response) is preferable to typing the exact same words in google with an immediate result. They probably just wanted your friendly bedside manner.

@AlexMurphy Did not notice, thanks! Aside from that, i tried to find a page but since im new to this, it is still confusing.
-
@herb_fargus You'd be surprised the effort some people go to In order to avoid google, Herb. Or maybe you wouldn't. Perhaps my approach was a bit sharp. I do apologise.
-
@castroe_10 I apologise if I was rude to you. Welcome to the forum.
-
@AlexMurphy Someone would've said it any ways, no harm done!
-
@castroe_10 Ah. Most of us are friendly. Even me!
-
@AlexMurphy Glad to know! So.. where do i begin? Some of the sites i've found are confusing for a beginner like myself
-
@castroe_10 So. Just to be clear. Are you trying to mount the SD card in your MAC or have you booted it in the Pi? Did you edit any files / configs? What are you using to write the image to the SD?
-
@AlexMurphy I've formated my SD card in my mac using SDFormatter and then used ApplePi-Baker. Ran it in my raspberry and I get that kernel can not mount it and "Nonblocking is initialized." I saw a couple more videos and saw they used Etcher instead of ApplePi and when i try to extract the img it says that my drive may be damaged. So now i believe all this time I had a damaged SD card. Would that be why i get that kernel can not run it? It has nothing to run, basically?
-
@castroe_10 Etcher is meant to verify the image as part of the writing process. However, it may be a few things. The image you downloaded may be corrupt. It happens from time to time or the card may well be the issue. I suggest redownloading the image and starting afresh. If that doesn't yield a positive result try a different SD card.
