Ok so I have this issue and I can’t find a solution, I’m hoping someone can help me

I just got a 5 inch monitor form amazon brand is SunFounder
In the right side there is about an inch of the screen that doesn’t function, is just black space I tested the monitor in my mac and it Works just fine, but when I plug it into the raspberry pi (model B V1.2) running retropie (4.2 latest) I get that issue also the top and button have a small black border, when I plug it to my tv the image is okay and it display the images in the middle, I don't mind the borders in the TV but I want to make a portable unit
      Here is the config.txt as well, can someone point me in the right direction ![3_1495400475623_IMG_1524.PNG](Uploading 100%) ![2_1495400475623_IMG_1523.JPG](Uploading 100%) ![1_1495400475623_FullSizeRender.jpg](Uploading 100%) ![0_1495400475623_997532B4-1161-48F4-A43C-8E825ABCD0F4.large.JPG](Uploading 100%)

          Hi @wolfsoul

Can you try posting the boot.txt file again, it doesn't appear to have uploaded. Also can you try to complete the details listed in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

EDIT: Sorry, just seen you have reposted the Boot file. Also, can you confirm what Pi you are using?

A quick Google for 800x480 Pi display turned up this page:

                https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-5-800x480-tft-hdmi-monitor-touchscreen-backpack/raspberry-pi-config

The important bits are highlighted in Orange in their Boot config. Try it and let us know how you get on.

@wolfsoul I see your problem. Your TV is on its' side. Did it fall over?
