    Hi All

    First time post,

I removed a number of roms by deleting them using ssh. The funny thing is even after restarting emulation station they still appear even though i can confirm they have been removed from the roms folder.

I assume they are cached in a file somewhere and wonder if someone can give me some guidance.

    Regards
    Dave

@Mustbekeene Did you restart ES / reboot?

@AlexMurphy Thanks for your quick reply. I first restarted emulation station and as that never worked also rebooted the pi. Still see a full list of roms when folder is empty

@Mustbekeene Try deleting them through the options menu in ES, set parse gamelist only to OFF or try manually editing the gamelist.xml files

@AlexMurphy Very Odd. I have set parse game list only to OFF and deleted the gamelist.xml files for (arcade mame-advmame mame-libretro mame-mame4all neogeo ) I restarted the Pi and get no emulators which i understand. Then set parse game list only to ON and then see the emulators for arcade, mame, neogeo and all the games. There should be no games as i have deleted them all.

              Panic over everyone.

I run an ls -a on the folders and found the cause of the problem, the files were hidden with a "._" prefix making them hidden.

Removed all those and the system returned to normal.

              Thanks all.
