I'm sort of new to Retropie and the Rapsberry Pi hardware. I know you sometimes need a resistor when using LEDs. Should I add a resistor to an LED connected to the controlblock?

@Brian The resistor is already provided on the ControlBlock. Connect the LED according to the polarity marks on the board.

@edmaul69 Without referring to a schematic, I had to open my PiNES console. The LED resistor is marked 221, I believe that would be 220 ohm.

@ortsac and that would be the correct size for a 3.3v led on a 5v system. Thank you.

I can confirm that the information about the resistor is correct.
