MAME ROW #45 - Terra Force
-
please post a deadline reminder on the last day next time ;)
(although i never got a chance to play any so it wouldn't have made a difference to me!)
-
The luck was on my side!
154400!
By the way, did you guys notice that this hi-score screen is cropped? Can you confirm if this happens on your end? It's weird, looks like it was supposed to be displayed on a horizontal screen while the game is vertical...
-
@dankcushions I try to post the results around 8 AM Eastern (US) on Wednesdays. I'll try to find a way to send a reminder.
-
@meleu You sir, are a machine!
How could you put your name in? I can only seem to update the letter on the far right.

Haha, I just realized that's the part of the screen that's cut off. You just can't see all the letters. :)

@obsidianspider that's why I said that in the end of my post:

@meleu You and your fancy "writing it down" so I could not read it as I was scrolling down the page. ;)
-
Just for the heck of it I tried the game with
lr-mame2010
and things seem to display "better" (there's some weird artifacting when the screens go between vertical and horizontal), but the high score screen is "right".Also, I'm not good at this game.

First post here from me with a score of 63.000.
Game is pretty good - think I would really have loved something like that when I was a kid.
Also think I will need to replace the Happ style buttons and stick in my controller with something softer soon - my fingers hurt :-) -

According to Mame History it IS a horizontal screen:
