RetroPie is not really a distro, so I wouldn't call it that way. If you're just forking the main project, with the intention of providing a different configuration, then make it an independent project and mention that it's just a RetroPie 'spin'/derivative work.

You could adapt my Excel export script to output HTML instead of XLS.

@Efriim Another reason for me to not use the auto save is that one function of my DIY cabinet is to entertain my guests, and for that the games should start normally at their title screen, not somewhere I or others left them. But in general I like it that there is such a feature. 👍

I think the software should be open source or pay to use the binaries or something. raspberry pi is all about open source and free source communities. Exagear being a paid software is really a kick to the face for the pi community.

at least set it up as patreon or something instead of the garbage it is now.

@dawtyne10 RetroPie won't be available in Kodi, it is the module RetroPlayer, that will become available on Kodi 18. Although they are both about retro emulation, it is a bit different, RetroPlayer will include "only" the RetroArch core emulators.
