@Coldcoat please add some more details about your system as requested in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-first

What hardware are you on and how did you install RetroPie? Please attach the relevant log from ~RetroPie-Setup/logs from when you tried to install Drastic.

    Sorry for being vague.

The games go through the usual runcommand launch menu, then black screen, then back to games list.

The runcommand log for a nes game look like this:

    Parameters: Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-fceumm/fceumm_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/nes/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/nes/Metroid (USA).zip" --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg

And for a PSX game look like this:

Parameters: Executing: /opt/retropie/emulators/retroarch/bin/retroarch -L /opt/retropie/libretrocores/lr-pcsx-rearmed/pcsx_rearmed_libretro.so --config /opt/retropie/configs/psx/retroarch.cfg "/home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx/Alundra.PBP" --appendconfig /dev/shm/retroarch.cfg Memcard 2: disabled Starting PCSX-ReARMed Running PCSX Version 1.9 (May 28 2019). psxMap: warning: wanted to map @80000000, got 0x6f50a000 Init new dynarec testing if we can run recompiled code.. test passed. warning: RAM is not directly mapped, performance will suffer Mapped (RAM/scrp/ROM/LUTs/TC): 77000000/1f800000/1fc00000/08000000/7018f000 found BIOS file: SCPH101.bin RGB565 supported, using it plugin: plugins/builtin_gpu plugin: plugins/builtin_spu plugin: plugins/builtin_pad plugin: plugins/builtin_pad Plugins loaded. Loaded CD Image: /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx/Alundra.PBPbad psar_sig: . selected sound output driver: libretro

Both these games work on a fresh mount, but not on my current library.

    Thanks.

The auto-USB copy function has historically only copied NEW files from USB to Pi. It would go through the files on the USB stick and copy over anything that wasn't already on the Pi. You don't lose anything on the pi.

@mitu I loaded retropie onto the sd card, then rebooted. then I started back up and put in the USB to populate it with the folders. Then took it to my PC and added all the roms. Then plugged it back in. So no I am not running them off the USB. I just didnt know if I plugged the USB back in to add more roms, with the original roms removed, if it would remove them from the SD card

The documentation got you covered - https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Transferring-Roms/. About the SD card - the Linux partition where the actual system is stored is not visible in Windows (just the boot partition), but there are other methods for transferring ROMs, oulined in the docs.

Note that selling systems with RetroPie pre-installed is not legal and support for 3rd party images is something that's not the topic of these forums.
