Nice project, u plan to make a wireless version?

Hi yes we plan a stretch goal for wireless hopefully - first though it is just about trying to raise our production goal. I know it is a large amount of money trying to raise 38k per design for the factory! We need all the backers and support we can get. But if we do get there then extra Stretch Goal options for other language layouts, wireless and other popular requests can then be added. Thanks for your feedback and support :)

But in France, "abandonware" games are free to use.

Do you have a link to an official law/regulation ?

I don't see how to modify my topic to delete the link. Is it possible or should you delete the topic completely?

I've edited the text, you can do so from the hamburger menu at the lower right of your post.

@cyperghost I also had a used TRS 80 but not an Amstrad CPC. I wish I still had them all along with my cassette and 20lb floppy disk drive. It would be fun to go back and look at the BASIC differences (which I can now do on the Pi of course).

Python would have been a big step up :)

It's amazing what 64KB of RAM could do back then.

I see that the lr-caprice32 has support for m3u playlists - https://github.com/libretro/libretro-cap32 - so you can create a .m3u file containing each game's disks.
Emulationstation doesn't know - yet - how to handle those files and it will not show them, though. If you use the lr-caprice32, you can create your custom es_systems.cfg - see here) - and add .m3u as known extension.

Ok, so I found all the emulators in Retropie Setup under Manage Packages and I installed Frotz which I was immediately able to play Zork on. I still wanted to figure out my original problem though, so I changed my emulator to CapriceRPI (I was actually on lr-caprice32 before). But now, whenever I enter CAT or any command to play the game, it says:
      Drive A: disc missing
So my original problem is still unsolved but at least I can now play Zork and I know how to mess with the emulators.

Hi, I asked the developer of lr-caprice32 if he would add save states to the core and he has now kindly implemented them.

      https://github.com/libretro/libretro-cap32/commit/8dc1fe206abc480cfd55c419a4f24f227495488b

You can enable this functionality by running the "update from source" option for lr-caprice32 under RetroPie setup.

      0 committed to libretro/libretro-cap32 added save-state support, fixes #52

@youxia It might be better if you started a new thread about this, since it's a completely different question from @crumbs' one.
