@memorylane said in Cannot compile lr-ppsspp (ffmpeg arc4random implicit declaration error):

@mitu Is it only a matter of updating the source version in the install script?

      Seems like it.

      Which version did you try?

Latest stable release is 14.4 AFAIR.

Maybe it's not related to RetroPie and I should open an issue at Libretro's forums?

@mitu solved my problem. In RA there's an option for the directory in which the replays are stored/saved. During game play (while recording), however, the audio and graphics go to hell and back. During replay it's fine, but does anyone have a way to prevent the distortion while recording?

@COOL_IRON either ffmpeg didn't compile or you didn't compile RetroArch with ffmpeg

Sorry to bump this, but does anyone know how to pass additional commandline options to ffmpeg via --recordconfig?

@herb_fargus to avoid this confusion I've just made a PR to explicitly use rgui as the menu_driver.

Just an update in case anybody was watching this (the original) post - I've finally published the guide... I hope that you find it helpful - please feel free to ask me any questions (as I've not had time to polish it quite as much as I'd like)

Details are on the forum post here:
