Is there settings to set for better performance then default.

Im hoping the pi 4 has better performance with run ahead

Supposedly it has 2x-3x the performance of a pi3, so yeah i guess it will help a lot, but i own an odroid n2 which clearly outperform the pi4 (more recent cpu with higher frequency) and it's still unable to run some games full speed iirc (and i'm not talking about the special case of killer instinct)

I noticed that FBA 2012 runs SSF2.ZIP flawlessly, but opening it from the EmulationStation on my Pi 3B+

Stating the fact : using fba2012 on a rpi3b+ is stupidity born of lazyness.

I tried overclocking on my pc but didn't notice anything. It's weird. Maybe the game itself just uses less frames for jumping/projectiles. The player can smoothly move left/right while at the same time an enemy can throw a projectile at a lower framerate. The whole game doesn't slow down.

From the Docs there is a link to a Google spreadsheet with compatibility list of the games for the lr-fbalpha emulator. It contains the full name of the game for each rom version. I use CTRL+F in Firefox to open the search bar.

I usually use the base version, as it is the "normal" one (normally). @user50217 Thanks for pointing out this. I was thinking about to reorganize my Neo Geo collection and this is an important information to me. To be more precise, I meant the information about NGH home version of rom and NGM. I thought its only depending on the bios.

@barbudreadmon I did yes. Back then I only updated lr-fbalpha 2012 which didn't improve things.

How would I change the privileges of the file? Just in case I want to make some changes later on in life.
