      @dankcushions Hi dank. This is actually great to know, as I think you probably just saved me from disappointment.

      So I'm working on an arcade build of sorts for the .221 set in its entirety. I guess I assumed here that I could download and align everything to lr-mame, but that doesn't seem to be the case, correct?

      Should I just stick to MAME 0.78 and lr-mame2003-plus and go that route? At least I know those will work and that core is bulletproof.

      @mitu Thank you. I've got it working and seems to be solid 60FPS for me in everything I've tested with an overclocked Pi 4. I've created my own version of the lr-bsnes scriptmodule that also adds SGB system support: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/zerojay/RetroPie-Extra/master/scriptmodules/libretrocores/lr-bsnes.sh
