Appreciate the log, but also in your post please supply all the info requested in the above link. @ruckage i should of figured as much. probably one of the last music files i downloaded i need to just delete. what about the error finding message? any thoughts? also where do i go to find these error logs?

If you already know what command to start the program you need, you only have to put the same command in /etc/rc.local file and add a & symbol in the end of the line.

Just put a folder called retropie-mount and a Roms folder. As long as those are there, it won’t copy anything. If you don’t have a Roms folder it will copy the roms folder from the sd to the usb memory.

@hbornstein You need to read the instructions. If it is not working - your emulator / rom pairing is incorrect as stated above.

Nevermind. I figured it out already. I had to SSH into it and write some commands to install the PS4 and 360 controllers manually. Works great now

@8ad1nfluence It should. But im not so sure how you would get sound out because you are already using the Pi 3's rca port to get video using composite.

However, for Zelda in nes, I can control the game just fine and do everything normally, except quit. I can't get out of it without pulling the plug.

when you did https://retropie.org.uk/docs/First-Installation/#configure-controllers, what did you configure as 'start' and what did you configure as 'hotkey'? to quit it's hotkey + start.

@da_kicks_87 Who knows what could have caused it. If it were me, I would reformat the SD card and then flash the backup image to the card. If you still have issues, you may possibly have a faulty SD card.

@buzz Hi Buzz, just updated from source and it's all fixed. Thank you very much. And twinaphex for merging it as well, of course.

OK. I figured it out. I had to update Emulationstation from source, so that I could get the latest version. Once I did that, the themes started working.
