@mitu Yes. I did both. The virtual Keyboard does not have the HELP button for some reason. and yes, i have tried so many things. lol.

If anyone would like to try it in their lr-Hatari or Hatari just to get to the control screen in game, please i would love to see if anyone can do it!

@windg I looked the link you posted and I found the info I was looking for. I have another question now. When I try to load the second disk to a game, I get the error "Failed to append the disk". Do I have to open another topic?

This is issue is now resolved.
The solution was as simple as replacing the lynxboot.img BIOS with a copy that prints the good MD5.

I think updating is always a problem when using 3rd party module-scripts, that is probably the reason.

Not sure if there is a good fix for this.
I suggest you do it like I described earlier.

Perhaps putting all 3rd party module-script in the RetroPie-Setup/ext directory like this :
/home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/ext/<3rd-party-repository-name>/scriptmodules/<supplementary|emulators|etc>
will make updating easier just cutting and pasting only the ext directory in the new RetroPie-Setup.

I understood you first post, but a libretro core might not read or write the same .cfg file as the standalone emulator. Usually when an emulator is ported to the libretro api, its options are implemented and exposed as Core Options in RetroArch.

Try updating the lr-hatari emulator from source, I think 2 player support hasn't been added until recently.

The RPI zero/1 is not capable at emulating the ST at full speed.

I see lr-hatari can load an .m3u to allow disc control from retroarch. It will be automatically read from an uncompressed zip along with disk images.

It won't work within a zip, but works great loading directly from an m3u. Also, the disk image extension cannot be changed (eg. .disk1).

I changed the disk extension to uppercase and removed it from es_systems.cfg

I suppose you could use a hidden folder as well.

I know is old thread but i want to let know lr-hatari is fixed now and works, big step from standard Hatari imho. Hope that helps people interested.

Unfortunately it does not seem to work.
I hpe that the regular hatari gets button configuration support so no keyboard is needed...
