Update: i looked around online and there was a video of someone having the same issue and the piece that is right below the SD port (on the other side of the board) you pull that piece out a little and press it back in and everything works perfect afterwards. Maybe its just a factory issue that its not in all the way butno matter what it worked. thank you for helping me figure it out

@mitu That procedure worked fine. underlying OS has been upgraded as well as the Retropie code. No need to re-install anything. I'm currently in deep testing of the image. Thanks so much.

The ControlBlock also finds on the model b. However, one difference between B and B+ is that B needs a bit more power than B+. Depending on your power supply this might lead to instabilities with the power switching component on the ControlBlock, because the MOSFET on it adds a small voltage drop. Hope that helps?

the pi1 b (512mb version) isn't to bad... and can run some PSX games... I was able to play pac man world on it using the .cue/.bin extracted from the disk with no problems as well as a couple others (crash bandicoot and such) though more graphic intensive games like Tony Hawk was unplayable... and N64 on Pi1 was near impossible...

@Exmix Looks like a waveshare 3.5 tft spi @obsidianspider did a kind of How-To in this thread so congrats to him for keeping all links in one posting. Be carefull the 3.2" TFT uses annother resolution (and other overlays??) than your 3.5"
