@g30ff the drive is just a script that boots a service, but yep tried that ... and also working with Sinden too .. but since this was such a needle, was hoping there was some known mouse issues lingering that could help me pinpoint a resultion

You helped me get my set up for my controller and helped me with the keys ... i have struggled with this for 4 days lol ... glad it works and i hope others can see this and get the idea how it works :)

I confirm the same issue. Also, controls appear unasigned under the retroarch quick menu option, unlike other mame versions (2003, 2010). The only way to remap controls is via the tab menu, but secondary mouse buttons do not work
