@mitu i'm going to try it! maybe I need to adapt the flags on my system and it will work!

looking at the Linux build it's already compiled. when i get the pi version to start building it stats that OpenBOR is not found more specifically that /home/pi/RetroPie-Setup/tmp/build/openbor-fflns/OpemBOR is missing now i am going to try with the openbor that is able to be installed with the retropie setup and see if that works.

@mitu How are you, dear friend? I told you in my reply that I have installed Openbor from the retropie repositories, I changed the flags:
64bit gl vulkan x11

@ExarKunIv I attempted this unsuccessfully but will give it another shot.

The configs in openbor are not user readable / not in any way like a retroarch.cfg.

And like I referenced above, my openbor saves are for some reason saving to: /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/Saves

What's the smallest a commit sha can be and still work? Any reason not to just make it -gt 0?

Install OpenBOR from RetroPie-Extra as a system rather than as a port and it should work fine.

I just tried He-Man (v1.6.0) and it ran perfectly.

@leonjordan i had a number of problems installing the openbor scriptmodules. i suggest you try RetroPie-Extra version of the openbor scriptmodule, which will install an up to date build (65xx) with ability to direclty launch .pak files without extracting them.

@zerojay The extensions were missing from es_systems.cfg in the openbor section; I just had to add them😊. It's launching now!!! Thank you so much for all your help guys. Really appreciate it.
