      @itsmelos

      When you write the RetroPie image to the SD card, it is creating two partitions.
      The first is a boot partition in FAT32 filesystem that is about 250MB as you have already seen.
      The second is a GNU/Linux partition in the ext filesystem. Windows will not see this unless you install special software. But that is okay, we really don't need Windows to see it.

      As soon as you are done writing the image to the card, just stop and don't let Windows format anything. Insert the card into your Pi 4 and start it up.

      @bbloke I removed the link to the image - per the forum rules, there's no links to ROMs or copyrighted material.

      Sorry, no direct solution to your problem, but another option could be mame 2003 plus which has much better vector graphic support and settings than the original mame 2003.

      https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/17766/mame2003-plus-hundreds-of-new-games-improved-input-features-new-bugs-now-with-runahead-support https://docs.libretro.com/library/mame2003_plus/

      Some sample screenshots:

      https://retropie.org.uk/forum/post/165033 https://retropie.org.uk/forum/post/172935 (and later posts)

      I also used AdvMAME until mame2003-plus got the vector update. Then I switched to get the global libretro configuration.

      @MaximStroud Have you tried adding the bios files and boot it that way ? Can you provide the log file (/dev/shm/runcommand.log) taken after starting the game ? What other games have you tried running ?

      Nice troubleshooting. These types of problems with RetroArch turn up often when 'Save Configuration on Exit' is enabled, so be sure to make those files your first port of call for any other inexplicable issues going forward.

      You can try to use the SD Card Copier that is now available in Raspbian. I don't know if it's available in Jessie tho, so I'm not sure if you could install Raspbian within Retropie and copy your running SD to an SD connected via USB.
      Otherwise you need to set up an extra Card just with Raspbian and use two card readers to clone your card. The tool will clone your card to smaller/bigger cards and shrink/expand the filesystem automatically.
      I only tried it with my OSMC card and got an error message on the new card, but OSMC is not suppose to have the filesystem size changed afterwards and i was using an older Noobs version. So I'm not sure if it would work with Retropie flawlessly and i don't have spare cards to test it.

      @meleu any change there's an image out there that already has the pi 0w patched in already ? I want to install it on a separate SD card to compare the two versions. Thank you

      There are plenty of games with notes for Pi2 and no notes for Pi3. Generally means they suffer from the same issues.

      @kookamunga This worked for me too. Thx!
      A lingeringing issue: one hotkey bind is acting doubley. E.g. I switched Reset and Take Screenshot, but now my new screenshot takes a picture AND resets the game; I figure it's from an additional configuration, somewhere.

      @herb_fargus Hi there, thanks for your reply :)
      should I try installing Kodi, or Retropie again? Or both?

      EDIT: I managed to solve the problem by updating Kernel. I Hope this helps someone in the future!

      @anasazi29

      never copy and paste the python script. HAND type it. its not that big and it wont take that long.

      Now that you said this, I noticed on your original post that you had something like “shutdown -h now” but those quotes aren't recognized as quote by the RPi. They need to be ASCII quotes like this "shutdown -h now" so when you retyped it by hand you actually fixed these quotes!

      We just talked about this the other day.

      I'm sure there are some ppl just <sighing> about this and think that its silly that I got these confused

      I wouldn't worry about that and most of the ppl on this forum are here to help and to learn. Hopefully someone else finds this and it helps them resolve their wrong use of quotation dilemmas lol.

      RAM FLASH 4GB/RAM DDR3 1GB, support microSD up to 32Gb
