@muldjord said in Skyscraper: problem with re-naming rom names without bracket info: Do you perhaps sometimes run Skyscraper from command-line and sometimes from the RetroPie script? And do you then maybe have two different versions? Maybe I misunderstood and by two versions you meant two different scrapes for a system instead two versions of Skyscraper? In this case I'm pretty sure I only used Skyscraper from terminal for CPS systems as those were the only ones that originally didn't scrape from RP-script.

@flightrisk Alas, I can't help you with that. Good luck. edit: For manual removal of unwanted roms (among many more features), you could check out WebtroPie.

Thank you for all the help, everyone. I managed to compress my entire collection into CHD files. Much cleaner, and much smaller space-wise. And, they all work...except for the Sega-CD 32x games (there's only three or four of those). I guess I have to do some more homework on that one. Not all my images were bin/cue. Getting them to be bin/cue so I could convert them to CHD was tedious and sometimes frustrating, but I got it done. Thanks again.

Solved. turned out it was actually a malfunction in RGBCommander; the developer contacted me directly to say he was working on a solution. He let me test a rebuilt daemon, and will roll the fix into his next release. Check out this thread at Arcade Controls. —Æ

You can always download the games already in pbp format. Saved me a bunch of time that way. I found just about every american release already premade.

@jlachniet I was thinking in terms of time ( to play) ...not file size ;-)
