      @sklever sorry for reviving an old thread but recently rediscovered this gem of a game, the 97/98 game runs ok( no career mode), and crashes here and there. I would like to try the 2020 or 23/24 version of the game from( .lha file from retrogames).but no luck in starting it, only amibery logo on startup and black screen after that. Could you plesse share some knowledge for correct setup? -thanks!
      My setup;
      Retropie v4.8, build from source.
      Rasberry pie 400
      Amiberry 3.3
      Dragonrise usb controllers

      @dirty_monkee This issue may be of interest regarding the “Volume DH0 is write protected” error.

      The best chance of success is to use RetroPlay's WHDLoads as this is what the Amiberry WHDLoad Booter has been designed for. The name of the WHDLoad I am using for SWOS is SensibleWorldOfSoccer9697_v1.7_0842.lha.

      I wouldn't recommend using floppies - check the page for Loading from Disks (ADF) at the Amiberry wiki.

      @dudleydes
      AMAZING!

      It seemed using the correct .lha file did the trick!

      Thank you a million times.

      @MadRikXIV Sure, if you wanted to simulate 1980s kick and run football rather than 1990s passing football...

      I can pass my way up the pitch in Kick Off, can dribble, and can't beat a dive over an outstretched leg in the box :D
