      @martinrdgz before you dump your setup you may check these:

      Run wpa_supplicant manually with -d : https://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/a/103442

      Maybe line ending in the wpa_supplicant.conf may be the cause (Mac -> Linux):
      https://stackoverflow.com/a/18344020

      And I noticed a space in the `psk="<space>...", is put there deliberately?

      @mitu I fixed it! There was a problem with the Wi-Fi links around the house, as i was in the back room. It appears that the keyboard has a problem, so that is probably fine as I connected a ps3 controller via Bluetooth. Thank you!

      I didn't it, because i won't dissamble the GPi to connect the keyboard. So i have restored the SD-Card from Backup-File to save time. Now the WiFi works fine. It's a pity that I still don't know what the cause is. I've opened the wpa_supplicant.conf file to see any difference.

      country=DE^M ctrl_interface=DIR=/var/run/wpa_supplicantGROUP=netdev^M update_config=1^M network={^M ssid="NETWORK"^M psk="PASSWORD"^M key_mgmt=WPA-PSK^M priority=1^M # RETROPIE CONFIG START network={ ssid="NETWORK" psk="PASSWORD" } # RETROPIE CONFIG END

      It seems the same. But, it works. There must be another error.

      @mitu The Bluetooth is down. I could not get my controllers to connect. They would with the usb cable, but not Bluetooth. I think the module might be done.

      @zero_gravity You can try, but the pi works best functioning as one thing at a time. Its no powerhouse for multitasking.

      This question has had me thinking all afternoon, as it could easily come up while traveling. I was thinking that there must be a way to do this without the forethought to install 'Lynx' ahead of time. After a bit of searching, I found the following at:
      https://superuser.com/questions/132392/using-command-line-to-connect-to-a-wireless-network-with-an-http-login

      You will have to look once at the source of the login form to find out the names of the user and password fields. As the authentication redirect all pages, use any URL to get that source: curl http://www.google.com > login.html For example, you'll find: <form method="POST" action="http://my-public-provider.com/agree.php"> <input type="checkbox" name="agree" value="yes">I agree <input type="submit" name="push" value="Send"> </form> Then you can build your curl command to post your form information: curl -d "agree=yes&push=Send" http://my-public-provider.com/agree.php

      @danneskjold in terms of your special characters you can either ssh through putty or change the keyboard configuration:

      Meneer JansenM

      @tjans said:

      @Meneer-Jansen no problem.

      I have an iPhone. Switching to android after my contract is up. I have an app for my PC I could use that does the same thing.

      Ps. If Jansen is your last name, we share the same. :)

      Maybe the exact same same app has a version for iPhone too...

      P.S. Jansen is a nick name. I am Dutch though... :-)
