Hi. I have a retropie setup with 4 snes controllers. For n64 mariokart I have mapped my controllers shoulder buttons to analog right and left. For snes games I want normal behaviour. I have therefore made copies of the controllers device cfg files for both settings and shell scrips to change between them. This summer I want to bring my pi and the controllers but dont want to bring the big keyboard. Is it possible to run shell scrips from retropie without a keyboard? Or solve it some other way?

@runholen you can put shell scripts in ~/RetroPie/retropiemenu and they will appear on the RetroPie system in ES.

@runholen you could add the scripts to /home/pi/RetroPie/retropiemenu/
than you can execute them from the retropie menu on the start screen
