I have uploaded many Arcade/ MAME ROMs to my Retro Pi 2. Less than half work with the the Arcade emulators (ir-fbalpha, ir-imame4all, ir-mame2003, pifba, & mame4all). I want to delete the nonworking ROMs, but when I delete them in emulation station, the system crashes (see image). How do I delete these ROMs?

        Hi @Joshua2005777

It looks like you have your ROMs in separate folders and are trying to delete the folders but there are files in them. Probably the easiest way is to use the file manager in the Retropie menu. Then once deleted, restart emulationstation.

I am very new to Retro Pi, & I've never used Linux. I opened the file manager, but that blue screen was completely foreign to me. I couldn't find a tutorial that I could understand. From what I understand, I can mess something up pretty bad if I delete the wrong thing. Knowing my situation, where would you suggest that I start?

@Joshua2005777 The default view in the File Manager (Midnight Commander) should show the user folder. Assuming you are using the SD card to store your files, your ROM files should be located inside the folder Retropie\roms\<System Name>.
