just got a SFC30 and im trying to connect it to my rpi3b using a usb cable.

emulation station doesnt detect any controllers when the sfc30 is connected via usb
whereas it detects a generic usb snes pad just fine in the same usb port.

green and blue leds are flashing on the sfc30 controller when its connected.

as i understand it, this controller should work via usb.
is there something specific that needs to be done??

(cannot use bluetooth connection as its far too unreliable for me where the device is positioned. too many dropped/ghost inputs or connection stops during gameplay completely)
