So I have a Pi3, with the official 2.5v AC adapter, trying to run RetroPie 3.7 - I'm also using the onboard Wifi and Bluetooth and connecting a Wii U Pro controller. The biggest issue I'm having is super slow uploads. So I tried to ping the Pi3 and was getting dropped packets, timeouts and replies in the 9000s.

On a whim I installed the latest build of Raspbian and once again tried to SFTP and ping and everything was super fast and solid. Pings were under 15 in most cases and generally in the single digits.

So, I'm wondering if anyone is experiencing weird slow downs with the built-in wifi when using RetroPie, and if so has anyone figured out a workaround? Should us Pi3 users hold off until the system is built on 4.4?

Any advise would be great. Thanks!
