Using multiple controller for my retropie
-
Hi,
I just started to use retropie on a rasberrie 3 and I have some issues when trying to use the original controller for each emulator.
For example, on the rasberry, I have 4 USB slots. On each one I have plug a snes usb adapter, a nes usb adapter, a N64 usb adapter and a sega usb adapter. Here is the problem. the only thing who work is my snes usb adapter on the usb slot number 0. All the other controller doesn't work. Is someone can help me with this?Sorry for my english

This might have to do with the retroarch settings, since it sounds like only the user 1 settings are binding.
One way to check is to open the retroarch menu once a game is loaded, and then go into something like settings->input->. The top of the list shows which controller is currently active, you should be able to switch between the active controllers to set which one to use for User 1 (default).
Also, make sure you've setup binding for each controller. Your 4 USB connections correspond to User 1...User 4, so in the same retroarch input menu, farther down you'll see User 1 Binds, User 2 Binds, etc.
Cheers,

@Caligula88 first thing to note:
Please do not post a support request without first reading and following the advice in https://retropie.org.uk/forum/topic/3/read-this-firstNow, 2 questions:
- Did you configure your joysticks on emulationstation?
- Paste here the output of this command:
ls /opt/retropie/configs/all/retroarch-joypads/
