I am in the process of setting up my RetroPie and don't have a controller yet so I am using a keyboard. I have a couple of NES games and I can't for the life of me figure out how to exit the emulator and go back to the Emulation Station main menu. I know it must be something quite simple but I'm apparently having a senior moment.

      Thanks for any input!

Providing you haven't made any changes already - the default exit button is the "Escape" key.

Not for NES, it would be the retroarch default hotkeys "select + start" On a keyboard that would be "Esc + enter"

@finhead Could RetroPie 4.0 have a different retroarch default hotkey for exiting the game on NES / SNES emulator?

              Thanks
