Hi! I have set up a RetroPie with MAME, PS1, SNES, NES, Genesis/Megadrive, Atari 2600, and Vectrex, and all are working.

The system that I'm most keen to emulate, however, is proving to be vexing. The Intellivision was the system of my childhood, and I was looking forward to revisiting a bunch of action games, suited to a controller.

i have put .int roms in the Intellivision directory, and the 2 .bin BIOS files in the bios folder. But the category does not even show up in the main menu.

Is it a question of the files I'm using? Which is to say, should I try to get roms and BIOS files from a different site, or is there a step I'm missing? I managed to get MAME working with samples, and have no problems with the PS1, so I'm relatively conversant with the "trickier" emulators .

Any help would be absolutely appreciated.

(I just want to play Mission X again! :) )

Did you install the Intellivision emulator (jzintv) from the RetroPie-Setup Script?

Also, make absolutely sure you use lowercase and EXACTLY what the RetroPie git suggests for the ROMs folders

If you are used to Windows, that doesn't care what case filenames or folders are, Linux is very different that casing of files or folders is important

@steptoe I know this is old but I just fixed this issue myself the other day. Check to see if your emulation station has a ES systems config file. If it does, you likely need to add systems tags into the config. Everything I couldn't get to show up previously did and works great!

@Nookie1129 Hello! I know this topic is old, but I'm facing the same problem as you, because despite installing all ROMs and BIOS, the Intellivision logo does not appear in RetroPie's menu. Could you explain in detail everything you had to do to resolve the issue? Thanks in advance.
