Guys, I am new to Retropie. I just bought a Raspberry Pi 3 Model B days ago. And I downloaded Retro Pie to my Mac running OSX El Capitan and have it flash installed using Applepie Baker. The SD drive was subsequently renamed by Applepie Baker as "boot". Then I insert into Raspberry and start it up. Yet the system freezed in the black screen and the last row it says something like error -8. What does it means.?

i'm not sure about this part - did you format it for NOOBs after somehow? i think only the first step is needed.

@dankcushions yes, I've formatted it using Applepic Baker.

@chip hey finally I solved this. I did not flash the file with Applepi Baker instead, I used Etcher. Thank you so much for your reply! :)
