Pi Model: RaspberryPi 3 Model B

Power Supply used: (If using a Pi): Let me know if you need this. I don’t suspect power issues.

      RetroPie Version Used: 4.2.3
      -commit: c75b6e814bed8f0d5dd4553b4596bd2a923d46bf
      Linux raspberrypi 4.9.24-v7+ #993 SMP Wed Apr 26 18:01:23 BST 2017 armv7l GNU/Linux

Built From: Built on top of existing OS

USB Devices connected: 4TB external drive that is auto mounted
      - It may be important to note that I symlink the roms folder to this hard drive

      Controller used: PS3

Error messages received: No Keyboard functionality after starting n64 emulator and then quitting back to the shell.

      Guide used: https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/manual-installation

      Emulator: mupen64plus-GLideN64

Attachment of config files: mupen64plus.cfg: https://pastebin.com/VgVdtAsp
      emulators.cfg: https://pastebin.com/fKgEgtjW

How to replicate the problem: start n64 emulator then exit back to emulation station and then quit emulation station. At this point at the shell I have no keyboard functionality.

@mvgilpatrick It's likely to do this issue: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/issues/1985.
