FDS games not working

Hi,
I tried to setup some FDS-games. The bios file "disksys.rom" for nestopia is in the bios folder. But somehow the games won't start. I tried every emulator, but the games didn't start at all. -
@weiserlinker hey there. You forgot some info about what sytem you're running on and which version of RetroPie to help troubleshoot your problem.
Are the roms not loading at all? Is it kicking you back to Emulationstation? Are the roms loading but asking for a disc to be installed? ....
Anyway, for FDS I like lr-fceumm. Swapping disc sides is as easy as the R and L shoulder buttons.

My bet is on headers

RetroPie version is v4.2 and I have a raspberry pi 3 B.
All FDS-games were tested on my computer with similar emulators(nestopia, fceux), they work.
When I try to start a game it is kicking me back to emulationstation. -
@weiserlinker which emulator are you trying to load roms with? Are your roms in .fds format or are they .zip?
Don't forget to have a look here too.

@weiserlinker as @herb_fargus stated, it is probably a header issue. Try downloading a few roms from another site.
