      Pi 3 Model B

      RetroPie Version 4.2
Built From a pre made SD Image from RetroPie website
      Controller used JAMMA JPAC

      Hi.
I installed lr-mame2010 from the optional emulators section in Retropie, after restarting Emulation Station I went back to my PC, looked in to ROMS folder to drop my roms in but couldn't see lr-mame2010 folder.

I installed the Source version not the Binary, is this correct?

Have I done something wrong, any help would be appreciated.

      Cheers

there is no lr-mame2010 folder. as you can see from the top table in https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/MAME, all lr-mame* emulators can only use /mame-libretro/ or /arcade/

the mame2003 folder in /arcade/ (and /mame-libretro/) is not for roms, but for supplementary files generated by lr-mame2003. you can read about this here: https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/lr-mame2003

I'm still confused as to where Im supposed to put 0.139 rom set which is compatible with mame2010, if this emulator doesn't actually exist?

                Thanks

@Andyp74 it does exist - you installed it :)

                  like i said:

once added to that folder, use https://github.com/RetroPie/RetroPie-Setup/wiki/Runcommand to set lr-mame2010 as the default emulator for that folder.
