[Help Needed] New systems for Carbon for upcoming ES feature

Hi all,

Apologies for the "Help needed" topic.

I'm working on a new feature for ES that will allow users to display a few new "automatic" systems in the system carousel. These will include games from across several systems:

All games
Recently Played games
Favorite games (when favorites are implemented in ES, but support will be there)

That being said, these systems will require specific themes for these entries - "all", "recent" and "favorites".

Even though I can certainly "hack away" an option to implement basic support based on existing theme settings, given that Carbon is the default theme, it'd be great if these 3 systems could be added to Carbon. I'd hate it if suddenly the majority of our users would be seeing unthemed blank screens when using that feature.

Adding the systems is fairly easy, and it's something I can certainly do if it's a problem, but what I am utterly incompetent at would be creating the art - meaning, the controller and the logo for them.

@Rookervik - I know this is your "child" so to speak, so I'm explicitly tagging you in case you'd be up for it. I thought that, even if you're not, you'd at least want to be aware that this is going on. :)

If anyone else in the community would want to take a stab at that, do let me know.

It is an excellent idea :)
I stand for the "recently played" and "favorite" games option for a long time lol
Because make it by hand is so crappy :(
But i don't really understand what you want to do with favorite games for the moment because nobody adding this feature to ES :(

I don't really know the Carbon thème.
But like a i creating mine for my project RVGM, i will add your options and show you when it will working fine ;)

Indeed you are not often visiting this forum
@meleu is working on this one Favourites via symlink and @myself was working also on a Little Favorite Launcher and I think @Zigurana @pjft are still working on a favorite system integration in the next ES version .... so there is a lot of turbulence in the forum the last days here.

That's classic, and might look good to carbon theme - any volunteers for doing that? Or anyone with better ideas? (I hope so!)

@cyperghost I visit the forum, and i already read your two topics.
I stand for a real easy to use Favorite system include to ES and to use with the pad, i don't want to make it by hand for the moment.
It's my choice...

Yes the method from meleu and me needs heavy handwork. I hope that pjft and Zigurana can do an integreated system. For myself I'm happy with my coding - I often did not challenged in the mame rows because I forgot the week winner title :(
