      How to replicate the problem:

Quick question (hopefully); If I were to backup my pi's image onto my pc will this restore factory settings altered for the pi's performance settings? I'm about to venture into over clocking but when I eventually mess something up id like to have the ability restore the settings.

Also, what's everyone clocking there setup to for a better n64 experience? I know each pi is different but would like a starting point.

      Thank you!

Disk drill can help to restore deletes images. For instance, with it help I recover deleted photos on my mac. With step-by-step instruction it's easy to do even for me :)
