      Hey guys,

Strange problem: I have an EBOOT of PaRappa the Rapper (Parappa the Rapper.pbp) that runs off of a USB drive in EmulationStation. I decided to rename the file to PaRappa the Rapper.pbp and I did so from within WinSCP, directly on the USB drive. Now, when I refresh EmulationStation I see both Parappa the Rapper and PaRappa the Rapper in the list. Both obviously run the same file, as there is only one instance of it on the USB drive, but the name shows up twice. I've tried editing the gamelist.xml file for PSX and in there I only find one listing (listed as Parappa the Rapper which I then update to say PaRappa the Rapper). It didn't fix the problem and after refreshing EmulationStation the gamelist reverts back to listing it as Parappa the Rapper. I've tried deleting/refreshing/recopying for both the gamelist and the pbp but everytime the files are back on there, the game is listed twice. Any thoughts?

are you running games from your USB drive or using it to upload files (the default)?

if it's the latter, by renaming the file on your USB drive you just cause a second file to be uploaded - all it does is copy files from your USB drive to your SD card. you would instead need to use WinSCP to delete that file on your pi's SD card. it's located in /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx

No I'm running to ROMs from the USB drive. I have the auto-transferring tool disabled.

@Ikyrus are you familiar with the linux command line? if you could do this:

            ls -l /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/psx

and then paste the output here?
