Twitch Streaming from RetroPie + Bluetooth controller = random inputs galore. How to fix?
-
After having set up twitch streaming on my pi via thanks to the tutorial written up by selsine (http://selsine.com/2016/10/16/how-to-live-stream-to-twitch-from-a-retropie/), I began to notice that my FC30 Pro would occasionally randomly pause the game or the game would flat out quit, as though select+start were pressed. Fairly certain that the Bluetooth connection just spazzes out and assumes every button was activated at the same time.
At first, I assumed that maybe it was the FC30 Pro, so I synced a Wii U Pro controller and gave it a shot over Bluetooth. Sure enough, same issue. In fact, it pauses or quits out in a shorter amount of time if playing something co-op with the FC30 Pro AND the Wii U pad over Bluetooth while streaming. However, when NOT streaming, no issues whatsoever. Power supply is a PWR+ 5v 3.5a charger, also tried this on the official Canakit 2.5a with the same results.
Is there some bug I should be aware of? Or some setting that needs to be changed somewhere to avoid this? We like having the ability to stream so we can show friends potentially funny moments or to just save for personal use without having to take up space on the SD card. Wired controllers work fine while streaming and so does my PS4 wireless USB dongle. Would really like to continue using the FC30 Pro wirelessly though.
