I'm looking to get a Rasberry Pi 3 when I get the money, and I'm willing to put Dreamcast games on the Retropie. Which games don't run that good? (I heard N64 games don't run very good so I'm wondering if the same can be applied to the Dreamcast.) Is there anything I should lookout for when getting the Dreamcast on the Retropie? As for just general Retropie questions; Is there anyway to safely turn off the Rasberry Pi 3 so it doesn't fuck up my roms? Or is the push button really necessary? What controller should I use for all the games without getting too crazy? (I hear theres a bluetooth controller thats pretty good.)

You can turn off the Pi without a button through the menu. You choose Quit and shutdown. However, a button is useful at times. There have been times when the emulator hung and I couldn't get back to the main menu. The button still did a shutdown. However, there have been other cases where that didn't work either and I had to do a hard pull of the power. The

@rickerm if you ever have an issue not being able to shut down, shh like putty in and use sudo shutdown now or sudo reboot.

@TMNTturtlguy In the cases the button didn't work, I also tried SSH. the Pi was hung and not responding to that either. I don't think I have seen a case where the button failed and ssh still worked.
