      Hi.

When launching a game on any emulator and you press a button, you get a config menu that allows you to change video modes modes, as well as other options.

I would like to add CEA mode 8 for 240p 60Hz and CEA mode 23 for 288p 50Hz so I can choose 50 or 60Hz.

How can I add these modes to the list?

      Thanks

@t0nito you can't. It only shows modes that the monitor is compatible with (the list is obtained via tvservice)

@BuZz I my case I have it connected with an HDMI to VGA converter and connected to a CRT TV, I have a DMT-87 mode set to 240p 60Hz but I'd like to be able to choose a 288p 50Hz mode for PAL games without having to edit config.txt and reboot every time.

@t0nito you can try and force it by setting a mode, then editing /opt/retropie/configs/all/videomodes.cfg
